Happy Birthday Jake!

Dear Jake,

It is hard to believe that you are four. In a way it seems like just yesterday that you were born and that we began our family, but then there has been so much that has happened in the past four years.

You are such a biggety now, definitely not a little baby anymore. You are so full of life and so full of energy. You wake up on the go and stay on the go all day long until we force you to go to bed at night! Your spark for life is what makes your charismatic personality and also what gets you in so much trouble! I have been told by several teachers that you are "all boy", "have a lot of energy", and "can't sit still long". I fear how difficult kindergarten will be for you!!!

But, you can be the sweetest little boy. When I was making your birthday cake, you came by and said, "Mom, that looks great. You're doing a good job!" You are good with little kids and babies, and are a great big brother! You have good manners, and use them most of the time. You are great at sports, a very quick learner, so smart and are doing great at AWANA's. You have learned 23 memory verses so far and got the AWANA Star award.

Your Daddy and I love you so much and look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you. May God guide us and direct us as we raise you! Happy 4th Birthday Jake!
