VaCaTiOn part 1

We took a trip to Branson before school started. It was a fun get-away and the boys had a blast! As we were pulling out of Branson, they wanted to know when we could go back! Here are a ton of pix from our trip!

My BFF Holly came into town with her 4 year old son, Ty. The boys had a BLAST! We got to meet up with our other former college roommate, Laura, on Friday night and have dinner with her and her little girl, Courtney. On Saturday we took the boys to the "beach". Okay, not a beach like Florida, but close as you can get here;) We had a great time with you Holly and Ty! I wish you lived 5 hours closer and we could do this all the time. Love you and miss you!!

Swim Lessons

We had a great week of swim lessons with Ms. Pam. Both boys got moved up in their classes. Jake was moved from the 5 year old class up to the 8 year & up advanced class, and Josh was moved from the 2 & 3 year old class up to the 5 year old class. Jake learned more in his class than I learned in a semester of my college swimming class!! They both received the highest grades that Ms. Pam had ever given to a 3 year old and a 5 year old. Great job boys!!

New Barber in Town

Jake decided to try his hand as a barber with some rounded-kid scissors. Unfortunately, the results were not too good, and I don't think that is what he has a future in. Here are a few pictures of his masterpiece. Unfortunately with his blonde hair and the lighting, it was hard to get a good picture. Needless to say, he got a summer buzz to "fix" his work!
