College Station - Whoop!

Justin had to go to College Station for work, so the boys and I tagged along. We played in Aggieland while he worked:) I took the boys on a long, hot walking tour of campus (I forgot the humidity in CS!!). We were all hot and grumpy by the end! Here are some pictures of our campus tour....

Muddy Patch

We went to the Muddy Patch, I mean Pumpkin Patch with Wee School. It was Jake's class field trip and Josh and I tagged along. It was fun, despite all the mud:) We got to feed the animals, go on the hayride (once they got it unstuck from the mud) and pick a pumpkin!

p.s. Not sure what is up with Josh's smile in a lot of these pictures?!?!?!

4th Soccer Game

Okay, so maybe we had our win for the season right off the bat. The results were 2-7 today. A much more even match, but we still lost. Jake scored one goal and played a great game!! Go Transformers!

Our little lead toe, he kicked it over their heads out of bounds!! Maybe we should teach him to be a kicker!

Camping

We had a first....a family camping trip. We went to Eisenhower State Park and the boys had a BLAST!!! I think their favorite part was the tent and their new flashlights, but when asked Josh said the playground (which was right across the street from our campsite) and Jake said wearing his pajamas in the tent (what?!?). They were ready to put on their pj's about 6:00 and they played in the tent for HOURS before going to sleep. It was very hard for them to go to sleep! We cooked hot dogs, made smores, sat around the campfire, the boys went hiking, collected sticks, played on the playground, played in the tent, went swimming, and had A LOT of FUN!!! We didn't get to fish this time, but will hopefully have more time next trip. The boys are ready to go back! Thanks for organizing this Daddy!
