Third Soccer Game

We lost our third game 1-15. Guess we are not quite as good as we thought. Jake did play his best game ever though. He hustled so hard and scored the only goal for the Transformers! Jake had a cheering section this week of Jeffro, Wootie & Granny. Thanks for the support!! Great game Jake!

Friday Night Lights

We went and checked out the local Friday night lights this weekend. We went with our friends, the Hatch's, and had so much fun. It was homecoming and VA won! The boy's favorite part was the concession stand. We were at the very top of the stadium and made several trips down for cotton candy, peanuts, drinks, etc. I'm sure this is the first of many football games that we will be going to with the boys!

Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you and cannot imagine our lives without you! I know this was not the best birthday ever, but we love you regardless. We look forward to many more happy years with you!

Second Soccer Game

Well, our second game wasn't quite so successful. We got stomped 15-4. Jake did score two goals though (he says 3, I guess he's keeping a running total!) He seems to do better as the game progresses, still a little overwhelmed. He was on the ground a lot and caused other kids to fall and be on the ground with him. He must get that from his dad;) It was much hotter at this game, so there was a lot of sweat!!

First Soccer Game

We won our first soccer game 4-3. Jake did well, he scored one goal!! I think he was a little overwhelmed by the 20 other soccer games that were going on around him, all the parents yelling, the two coaches yelling and the refs. Mom's got to learn to chill out a little and remember that he's only 4! I'm so competitive, it's hard not to get a little worked up!! He did great for his first game. Go Transformers!!! Go #5!!!

Labor Day Trip West - Part 1

We headed out west for Labor Day to go see Cookie & Papa. We had a good time, minus Josh & I getting sick. The boys are infatuated with the Science Spectrum, so we went there multiple times and even bought a yearly membership!!
